INITIAL CONTACT
Prior to a consultation, the designer will establish the client requirements (usually by telephone) and will bring along the relevant information to the meeting. This initial contact will be free of charge.
CONSULTATION
This service provides advice only on colour scheming, wallcoverings, flooring solutions, window treatments and how to organise your own home projects.
A consultation is charged at an hourly rate of £35.
FULL INTERIOR DESIGN
This service has been divided into three stages. Whilst we prefer to be involved in all three stages of the design, we give our clients the option to use our design expertise to arrive at a design concept, without having to commit to the remaining two stages of our full interior design service.
Stage 1 - Conceptual Stage
Stage 2 - Progress Stage
Stage 3 - Implementation Stage
CONCEPTUAL STAGE - An initial meeting is arranged to take the client 'brief' which is a detailed discussion covering all aspects of the project. The designer will then prepare a design package to include a space plan/furniture layout, a sample board with sourced wallcoverings, floor coverings and fabric swatches, a lighting layout and window treatments.
Conceptual packages start from £175 per room.
PROGRESS STAGE - Once the presented design concept has been approved, progression of the design can commence by appointing contractors, obtaining specifications and quotes for works to be carried out, and quotations for the supply of materials, furniture and accessories.
Progress stage fees are based on the concept package.
IMPLEMENTATION STAGE - Once all aspects of the progress stage are approved, the design can be implemented. This involves preparation of contracts, project schedules, placing orders, site visits and general project management.
Implementation stage fees are calculated as a percentage of the overall works or as an hourly rate.
