The existing wardrobes originally had steel, industrial handles, so by replacing these with crystal cut glass knobs, the overall look was softened and became more in keeping with the age of the property. The chimney breast was open and draughty, so this was blocked and then filled with cut logs to create an interesting focal point. As the opening was off set, the picture was hung above the opening and the vase of twigs was added to balnce the look of the wall.
